HAJ Global Blog Review

Below delivers a chilling blend of sea-monster horror, mystery and family drama. Set in a remote Newfoundland fishing town, the series follows a fisherman whose community faces an extraordinary threat from the depths of the ocean.

The show's greatest strengths are its atmospheric coastal setting, suspenseful mystery and exploration of family bonds and community survival. However, some viewers may find the pacing uneven and the creature's visual effects less convincing than expected.

The intriguing sea-creature mystery.
The combination of family drama and survival suspense.
Josh Hartnett's leading performance.
What Could Be Better
